Few persons have seen a real object (not virtual or graphical) turn from one color to another in random, unpredictable order. When something inexplicably changes from one color to another, especially in apparent synchronization with music, dance or song, a viewer asks, "How does it work?"

In our experience, the more technically educated and trained the viewer of a Synchromicity lamp, the further afield their guess is likely to be. This mystery of not knowing how the lamps work adds much to their allure.

The answer is remarkably simple. No expensive, exotic, high-tech apparatus is used for most of these lamps. As a result, their selling price is lower than the buyer's expectation, given their performance. This is a great point from which to start development and marketing of any new product.

The enjoyment of the colors and the music is enhanced when music is heard while viewing the lamps. This is a surprising, sometimes even awe-inspiring, experience, again only fully appreciated by seeing a LIVE (and sometimes the lamps almost seem alive!) performance.
